Mainstay Legal has been under current ownership since 2015, led by Dean Rylander, a longtime veteran of the litigation-support field. Dean leads with an eye toward new growth while keeping the focus on the genuine, long-term relationships the company is built on. Across the team, we have 50+ years of combined tenure at Mainstay.

The idea behind our Mainstay name.
Mainstay Legal supports law firms and their clients. We are not the core of any litigation, investigation or dispute. If the client is the ship, then its board, counsel and advisors are the mast and sails that catch the wind and set the course. Mainstay Legal is part of the rigging that helps keep the mast steady. It rarely draws the eye, and it isn’t what steers, but it carries a real share of the load and does its part to keep the rest on course.
