Connecting BillingSys to QuickBooks

There is no self-service connection. BillingSys is internal software
serving a single QuickBooks Online company — Mainstay Legal's own. The connection
is established once, by authorised personnel, and is not something end users initiate.
How the connection is made
- An authorised Mainstay Legal administrator signs in to QuickBooks Online.
- The administrator authorises BillingSys via Intuit's OAuth 2.0 flow, granting access to the Mainstay Legal company file only.
- The resulting credentials are stored on Mainstay Legal's own servers and are never shared outside the organisation.
Reconnecting
If access lapses — for example after credentials are rotated or revoked — the same procedure is repeated by an authorised administrator. No action is required from other staff.
